Okay kids, here’s a treat for you!
As many of you know, I’ve recently been obsessed with watching a variety of Korean dramas on YouTube*. In the process, I discovered a whole new group of music, and have been rummaging around the internet ever since, looking up various Korean artists and subsequently, some Japanese and Chinese ones as well.
Some of it, admittedly, is pretty cheesy and thus, hilarious. But, some of it is really good! So here we are—if I were making a promo CD for Korean music, these would be my picks. Take them for what they are… the product of fairly limited experience.
Incidentally, Epik High was recently in the states with a few gigs on their current tour—I like them enough that I would’ve wanted to go if only I lived in one of the three cities they played in. :-p
