Clazziquai Project – Mucho Punk [2009]
The Clazziquai Project is a group that I found somewhere in the course of my Korean adventures. I like them. They’re a little bit lounge, a little bit electronic/pop, and little bit Korean inexplicability.
Interestingly enough, the original group was made up of three members, two of whom were siblings from Canada–Alex and Christina Chu. Christina has since left the group and been replaced by Horan, another girl. The third guy, in case you were wondering, goes by DJ Clazzi.
Honestly, I don’t love most of Clazziquai’s music–it’s a little too much experimental synth for me. After hearing about them quite some time ago, I nearly gave up on liking them…but then they produced this album and now I’m a fan.
