Beck Loves Music

One of the things I find so fascinating/hilarious about K-Pop is the unabashed fruitiness of so many of its members. It makes me wonder whether they themselves really want to dress/do their hair that way, or if that’s something put on them by an overzealous management company.

SHINee is a group that I generally avoid, for a couple reasons. First of all, they have a weird name. Second, my only real exposure to their music was on the Boys Over Flowers soundtrack, which, if you’ve listening to that, you’ll know was ridiculously badly compiled. Finally, I find them a little embarrassing to look at.

Despite all the above, I’ve had this song stuck in my head, so I figured I might as well inflict it on you too–watch the music video for the greatest effect. (Don’t worry, once you get through the intro, it gets better.)
