Beck Loves Music

Let me just preface this by saying that I’ve actually been branching away from my love affair with k-pop to explore other music like latin pop and bollywood… yeah, I know, nothing normal. Anyway, despite the fact that I’ve been meaning to post a bollywood playlist for a couple days now, this video came out today and it’s a great song.

It seems to me that the music that Big Bang has made in Japanese is better than the stuff they did in Korea (with the exception of Haru Haru, which I still love). Maybe it’s because there seems to be more of a focus on musicality instead of just “being hip-hop.” It could also be just that they’re getting better in general and it just so happens that they haven’t done much in Korea in a while. In any case, this song is a good example of what I’m talking about–I think it showcases all their talents nicely.

Plus, I’m a sucker for music videos, and this one is good.
